” High quality accomodation, we’ll recommend it to our friends without hesitation. The apartment in the ancient olive oil mill is finely remodeled ( a very well done job) , well equipped, nice and clean, and the hosts greeted us very kindly and with a strong spirit of hospitality. The accomodation is both near to the Ligurian coast and Cinque Terre and to Pisa and Lucca, what more could you ask for? ” .
” We’ve spent the last week in a very nice place: spacious, quiet, cozy and remodeled in a lovely and original way with those enourmous olive oil presses in the living room ( once there was an ancient olive oil mill ). Enrico’s parents have warmly welcomed us with a bottle of red wine and local products. The garden’s terrace is an invitation to relax ( there’s a little stream too). The main tourists attractions ( Cinque Terre, Carrara, Lerici, Portovenere…) are within an easy drive. We will glady come back” .
” Casale Amati is a very characteristic place, and Federica and Enrico have been able to turn it into a little gem: in a valley, not far from those coloured villages perched on the typical Ligurian hills, in an over two hundred years old building, this ancient olive oil mill has kept vestiges of its previous function ( including the press inside one of the apartments) that gives to the place its unique character. In conclusion, an ideal place where we’ve spent ( a family group with two children and a grandmother) a week at the beginning of August” . ( Séraphin C.) ” The young guests are as friendly as their warm, cozy house ” .
” Between the various addresses we jealously keep, there’s Casale Amati with its approachable, adorable hosts whom it’s easy to be friends with” .
” This house is a must see for the lovers of old stones. Behind the plain ex olive oil mill exterior , hidden treasures can be found inside: good furnishing and bedrooms decorated with love. In the evening it was wonderful to relax in the garden and watch the fireflies go by”.
